Enjoying the Clouds on an Island

Sometimes life gets so busy and even when the sun is out we only see the clouds of life

Busyness can creep in and make us feel like we are all alone on an island

Or busyness can make us feel that we need to retreat to an island.

Regardless of the circumstances, life's clouds don't always need to be viewed as blocking out good things

Sometimes, life's clouds shade us from too much of a good thing, or help us slow down to see good things!

All of life is a gift and holds beauty, however, it only becomes apparent when we can enjoy what is right before our eyes.

Life Lived Well in the Light!

The candle of one's life is lit at birth. In the early years, we don't recognize its' glow, nor the wax that drips slowly into the ground. We are too busy enjoying our lives. As age settles in, life's troubles approach, we begin to feel the heat, the intensity of life. And we realize not as much is left. Yet our candles still burn bright giving us as much light as when we first begun, only there is more wax beneath our feet and less time on this earth left to live.

These candles were put in place by hands young and old.
