Watching Beauty Fall Away

As temperatures change, preparing for winter can be a sad experience. It seems like all the beauty slips away. This picture was taken this past fall at Ridley Creek State Park in Media, PA. It is just an ordinary place to me. I have gone hiking there my whole life. Yet looking back on this picture, I see such beauty. It has fallen away. Now, in the midst of winter with barren trees, beauty seems to be burried. However, I wonder if I look back on the pictures of winter, will I see that it has fallen on me? Each season has its blessings, I guess they just need to be acknowledged.
